  • CalFresh/SNAP enrollment support: helps eligible individuals (including seniors, immigrants, and re-entry participants) navigate and sign up for food benefits

  • Food delivery program: volunteers pack and deliver groceries weekly to seniors, disabled, and low-income residents—particularly in Koreatown and Long Beach.

  • Advocacy & education: HALA fights for anti-hunger policies, publishes guides to social services, and hosts events like Hunger Action Day in Sacramento.
